I live outside Newcastle. How can I access your services?

We offer Zoom videoconferencing as an alternative to face-to-face consultations.

Do you just see school-aged clients?

No, our clients range in age from 16 through to 60. We see younger clients who are just starting out in their careers through to more mature clients who are reappraising the direction they are heading in or looking to retire.

Do you do aptitude testing?

In psychometric terms, the types of tests we use differ from “aptitude tests” per se. An aptitude test is a systematic means of testing a person’s ability to perform specific tasks and react to a range of different situations. These tests seek to determine innate ability at a particular competency. In contrast, the assessments that we use are questionnaires that specifically seek to determine both a person’s personality type and their interest profile. These have been found to predict a person’s suitability for certain careers based on empirical research. The main instruments we use are the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory.

Are you affiliated with any recruitment companies?

No, we are a private and independently owned business that has been operating in Newcastle, Australia, since 2002, specifically helping clients who are transitioning in their careers.

Is your service confidential?

Yes, most definitely and unequivocally. We treat any information that we receive from the client, whether that is spoken or written, in the strictest of confidence.
